Y20-Outreach-Events

The Global Youth Peace Committee is an organization that focused on the needs of the
poorest and most vulnerable. We envisage a world free of poverty, hunger, disease, and want, where all life can thrive. We are determined to ensure that all human beings can enjoy prosperous and fulfilling lives. We are working towards building a world with equitable and universal access to quality education at all levels, to health care and social protection, where physical, mental, and social well-being are assured. On this collective journey, we pledge that no one will be left behind.


It’s a pride moment for celebrating India’s presidency of G20. Our organization is keen to be part of Y20 India and contribute as per our capacity and knowledge.
Sharing herewith our willingness to join Y20 India and we are also interested to be included as the Outreach Partner to get involved in Y20 Talks, Y20 Chaupal, and Y20 Study Circle. .

Background

In order to attract the attention of the youth towards the establishment of global order and consensus for building an inclusive society, the Global Youth Peace Committee was set up by Mr. Braj Babu, Mr. Kaushalendra Pratap Singh, and Mr. Babu on 15 March 2019 for building an inclusive
society.


Global youth peace committee work towards achieving the 4th,16th, and 17th sustainable development goal of a united nation, " Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all, and build effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions at all levels."The goal and targets will stimulate action in the future in areas of critical importance for humanity and the planet.

The Y20 India Summit in 2023 would be a valuable opportunity for the global youth to reflect on the following priority areas and suggest policy recommendations for consultations with the G20 member states. The delegates would be called to address five main themes:

GYPS's Mission is to:

(A) Promote social justice peaceful and inclusive societies for equity, and rights in the context of the accessibility of quality education services with an emphasis on underprivileged sections. sustainable development, provide access to justice for all, and build effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions at all levels toward the future."


(B) Equity, and rights in the context of the accessibility of quality education services with an emphasis on underprivileged sections. Promote sustainable development, gender equity, inclusion, and elementary education, implementation of child rights, and elimination of all forms of violence against women & children, and social norms.
