Associate partnership initiative

The global changes in the political, economic and development landscapes have necessitated more voluntary hands joining in the implementation of global agendas concerning people, planet, peace, requiring public and private partnerships.

India Volunteers Day is observed & celebrated on 13th of January to recall our core commitments as a volunteer for India. This day is dedicated to all India volunteers who have been voluntarily contributing to help and save the prospective development of the country in making a resilient India.

Our vision is to integrate a network of resilience volunteers, who demonstrate the spirit of volunteerism by committed contribution of voluntary human hours & become the drivers of change for peace & harmony, safe, sustainable & resilient communities by respecting, loving & caring for the environment and ecology.

1st International Youth Development Conclave 

Integrated Volunteers Network observed 13th January 2019 as India Volunteers Day at Deshbandhu College, University of Delhi, marking a new dawn in the aspect and ethics of volunteerism in India. This 1st India Volunteers Day was made unique and remarkable with the recognition of 6 distinguished volunteers for their voluntary contribution in their respective fields with the 1st India Volunteer Awards. The day was kicked off with an inspirational musical presentation by volunteers from Save Child Beggars, NSS, Deshbandhu College & India Volunteers. The inauguration ceremony was led by the Chief Guest Prof. Madan Mohan Verma, President, Interfaith Foundation of India; Shubhro Roy, Mentor IVN, Manoj Dash, CEO IVN, Guest of Honour Prof. Vinod Menon, Founder Member NDMA; Special Guest of Honour Vikas Ahlawat, DANICS; Guest of Honour VP Mahawar, Former Director ONGC; Guest of Honour Dr. Geetanjali Kaushik, Director MahaParivesh; Guest of Honour Professor Biswajit Mohanty, Deshbandhu College; Special Guest, Shiv Kumar Nigam, Deputy Director (OL), Ministry of Electronics & IT; Guest of Honour D Kartikay, DANICS, ADM South and Braj Babu Chairman Global Youth Peace Committee. The inauguration was marked with a plantation, the launch of the India Volunteer Mobile Application, and the release of India Volunteers – Stories of Inspiration Book.

Representatives from government, nongovernment, NCC, NSS, Network, the corporate sector as well as individual changemakers made their presence felt through their innovative presentation, influencing and thought-provoking deliveries, and inspirational suggestions. Besides, two-panel discussions involving participants from a mixed diaspora, the evening was mesmerized by a regional cultural presentation from an inclusive plethora of artists. Volunteers from Deshbandhu College, NSS volunteers, NCC, VYK, academic, corporate & social institutions had their cultural presentations that revolves around the theme of voluntarism, patriotism, and selfless service. These presentations invoked feelings of equality, inclusion, and social bonding. The active participation of more than 250 representatives of NSS and cadets of NCC made the event memorable. Towards the end of the day, 6 awardees, selected from among 115 entries received from all over India, were recognized for their voluntary spirit and actions. With this, IVN laid down the foundation for a never-ending chain of recognition for the voluntary humane activities in days to come. The entire initiative brought 29 partnerships from all walks of life, to think, connect, integrate and strengthen volunteerism towards sustainability and a resilient India. This initiative was lauded by one and all.
